Kurt Vonnegut on life and other things

Kurt Vonnegut is one of the most famous writer of the modern American literature. When they asked him what life might be about he answered with a quote from his son Mark:

"We are here to help each other get through this thing, whatever it is."

Couple from the main writings of Kurt Vonnegut: Cat`s Cradle, Slaughterhouse Five or the Children`s Crusade, Breakfast of Champions and A Man Without a Country. It is nice to read writing from him, because he has this light, sarcastic humor and can talk about serious stuff in a funny voice.

Vonnegut`s life was full of extraordinary experiences, for example he was on the spot as an American soldier during the bombing of Dresden in the Second World War. After the world war he studied antropology at the University of Chicago. He labeled himself as a humanist and free thinker.
