Mental preparation

I got some interesting document about mental preparation from my brother who is a semi-professional poker player nowadays. What I implemented now was an idea about how to make a rational forecast and estimate of workload, and maintain concentration. Although the document was mainly about poker, it can be implemented also in other areas of life.
An other interesting idea was that in order to perform well and have a good life people should keep the balance in all these four areas: mental, physical, soul and spiritual. If these areas are ok, the energy is kind of flowing in circle, and they support each other so we can be more active and concentrate better on our tasks/goals.

I am following this strategy quite good for now. It is interesting how you can reduce the stress if you take one step after each other, and have a more process-based view instead of stressing because of the weight of the whole task.
