Photo exhibitions in Budapest - House of Hungarian Photographers (Mai Manó Ház)

House

Info based on the homepage of the museum: the eight story building got ready in 1894 by the order of Hungarian photographer Manó Mai, the next owner built a three story club in the yard of it which was functioning until the second world war.

The Association of Hungarian Photographers obtained the total ownership in 1996 over the building. It is not only the photo exhibitions, but also the house itself which is of artistic value. It is worth to take a guided tour to get to know the details, or at least read some information beforehand under: http://www.maimano.hu/maimanohaz_en.html
