One psychologist I really admire (Andras Feldmar) wrote this in one of his books: what if we die and realize at the end of our lives that we shouldn't have tried to behave so nice all the time. That there is no punishment, and we just overdid what we were supposed to do. Interesting thought. I kind of agree with it, but I do not believe in the " There is no right and wrong"- motto either. I believe somewhere in between, more in intuition and principles than social rules and habits.
What if there is actually nothing to rebel against? We all feel sometimes that there is so much "have to do"-s in our lives, that there is something which just does not feel right at all, what we have to break out from. But who tells us to do those things? Who is forcing us to make the choices we do? Noone..
Taking the thought of the psychologist further: how bad would it be if we die and see that all the rules society made us follow, and the normal everyday life was just a trick of something bad which was actually not for, but against us.
How funny how people look down sometimes at adult people who dare to dream and live. They label them as childish, naive or even crazy. BUT..Have you ever looked at a time elapse shot of a crowd walking in a big city? Are people who want to blend in hysterically not the actual crazy ones? Well.. actually it is not so important who is the crazy one. All I wanted to say that lately I met gorgeous people of every age and it inspired me to write this post, that people should not die in their souls when they turn 30 or 40, or more. Until you are alive you have the right to LIVE, feel, dream. And there is no rules, all the rules how someone at certain age should behave is bullsh*t. How could anyone else know what is the best for you? If you are 65 and you want to go to a diving course, then go. May be you will live until 95, and still have 30 years to enjoy your new hobby. And may be those people who plan everything so carefully and live always on high-speed will die at the age of 40. Who knows.. If you feel like doing something, do it. You do not have to make yourself look ridiculous, but I believe in it that if you are honestly admitting at least in your heart to yourself that you want something, you will find a chance to make it true.
Each myth and hypnosis can be broken, because they are like a spell. They just exist, because they are a collective belief. But immediately when you step a bit aside, and try to listen to your own self all this noise gets silent, and you can discover what your own life should be about, and why you got a chance to live.
