To mark International Women’s Day around the world – over the weekend just gone – two Swedish pop ladies teamed up to record a new song. And today it’s been released. Ji Nilsson and Marlene, and ‘Love You Anyway’.
It’s a bit of a stunner this one. Beautifully melodic and thus quite catchy, despite its darker and more brooding edge. The stop-start production contains oriental elements, and contributes towards an atmospheric listening experience – heightened by the hushed and downplayed vocal from the pair of songstresses.

The single is out now and has been released outside of Sweden too.
