From the city to the sea

I really like to take photos in nature because you land withing couple of minutes from the middle of the city at a place where complete silence rules. The contrast is so big that it is almost unbelievable. Surely also the city hides a lot of beauty as you can see in the first picture. To watch the cathedral lit by the setting sun from a back street is also just as beautiful as climbing the rocks and watching the sea by sunset. It is just a different kind of beauty.

This was the start:

And then it continued here:

As I arrived at the rocks there were no people around any more, i saw only a couple walking to the sea on the way back. In the end also the moon came up and the place was really a metaphor for peace and beauty. It would be nice if people in every country would pay attention to the preservation of nature more, because the energies what you get from people, through art and in nature are all important and equivalent, but yet so different.

I also got some ideas for future photo projects here while i was taking photos. Later on this weekend i went to see the Robert Mapplethorpe exhibition in Kiasma. I might write a separate article about it. I really liked the Flower-series, the one about death with the skull and apples and the portraits.
