Practicing evening shots from hand-with my pet

I have to practice evening shots where is low light. It is hard to shoot from the hand, this time I was  leaning on the sofa with one of my hands. I still have to experiment how the ISO-values, the F-measures and the exposition times can be combined to have more sharp photos among every sort of light conditions.

An other novelty: I did not have my contact lenses in this time, I took the photos wearing glasses. The green background was a challenge too. I want to learn how to balance color shades on photos where is really bright color backgrounds compared to the object.
